My Family The Brawleys

Yeah so i just finished watching a movie with two of the Brawley girls, Shannon and Sarah. Now they are napping and I was just thinking abut how lucky I am to have the Brawley family. And so I just though that i would write about how i came to know this wonderful family of the Brawleys and how they have became my family as well.

So lets begin by going back some time ago. I had just moved to Powhatan and i was kind of a shy person. Moving from Richmond to Powhatan I knew no one. So right away my mom wanted to get me involved with something and since the year before i moved i had just started soccer she wanted me to try to pursue it. So i did. It was Powhatan Rec.,and there were many people playing. But somehow by the grace of God I a certain goalie attracted my attention. A girl goalie. Being young and kind of dumb, i thought a girl goalie was a bad idea. But to my surprise i was proved otherwise. However, being the goalie she was wasnt the only thing that caught my attention , haha she was really cute and i quickly took a liking and began flirting with her. Shannon Brawley was her name. And To this day we talk about everything. Yeah everything. We will talk till four in the morning if we have too. trust me we already have. I love her to death.And she probably wouldnt have admitted back then but now im sure she would, that she had a little crush on me as well. so we talked after games and laughed and all that good stuff. Nowback to the beginning, not long before they had just started going to a church. Shannon ans her family invited me to come. PCC (Powhatan Community Church) was the name. And boy was it different.

You see, i grew up in a baptist church where you dressed up everyday and sang hyms and things like that. Not Here. Here you would wear jeans sing christian rock songs and everyone was welcome. No judgement was made. (which was big for me since i havent had the best record/past). So i contiued to go and i continued to hang out with the Brawley Family.

So it happend where i would spend almost two weekends a month every month at there house. And i loved it. They welcomed me with open arms and smiling faces every time. Even if i did eat all of there food. Haha. Now Beth Brawley, or should i say Aunt Beth? One of the best loving strongest women i have ever met. A single motherof five! and soon to be six because of me haha. Aunt Beth is always there, thick and thin, if i ever have a problem, out of all of my adult friends shes got an answer and a good one too. I love her so much.

Sarah Brawley...phew. I call her the crazy one. Shes always got me laughing some way or another, whether its her talking about how she needs to aprove of my g/f or just talking about funny past stories. Shes my movie buddy. We watch all the best movies together from V for Vendetta to The Skeleton Key. I think it took her the longest to get used to me and all but now its great thanks Sarah I love you too.

Of Course Sydney Brawley,one of the smartest young people i know. and also very funny. i remember when we spent like two or three hours just dancing to songs like walk it out or two step. For being kind of you lol, shes got pretty good insight on things in life. and like Shannon and Sarah she is also very pretty. She is going to be a model, at least i think so. Sydney i love you and stay fly haha.

Oh yes my man Daniel Brawley. This dude is too cool for you. Like seriously you know how the lays potato chip brand says you CANT eat just one. Well Dan is so cool he CAN eat just one. And the man is sick at soccer. By the way, Congrats on making the team man im proud of you. Stick with it its an awesome sport. And i awlays enjoy playing guitar hero and stuff with you dude. I love you man.

Haha David "Wild" Brawley. Thats what i call him. This kid is crazy funny. He says the randomest things that always make me laugh. And i guess itsw because hes young but hes totally honest. If he thinks what your wearing looks funny.. he'll let you know. i look forward to seeing him get older. haha love you Dave.
